The Smart Cities Conference 2018 I 24 April 2018, Salford University Manchester - UK

Michael Mulquin, President of the Smart Cities Association is the keynote speaker at the Smart Cities Conference 2018 in Salford University Manchester. This Conference will bring together experts from government and industry to give their views on how smart technology can be used to improve the lives of the 45 million people living in the UK’s town and cities.  

It is worthy to note that the UK is targeting a 10% share of the smart cities industry, which will be worth an estimated $400 billion globally by 2020. Cities like Manchester are already pioneering the use of sensor technology and the internet of things to transform services including transport, public health and energy usage.
